On March 11, 2022, the opening event of the Living Lab AI&ART pavilion project as part of Esch 2022 took place at the Computational Creativity Hub of the University of Luxembourg on Belval campus. The event enables students and artists to discuss in person their projects that combine two disciplines (AI and Art).
Participants explored numerous AI&ART projects implemented both by students who provided the technological part and skills to support implementation of artworks and artists who are the source and the driver of the creative part. They discussed the AI based technologies used for their artwork, the importance of creativity, the role of AI as a tool for the visual and performing arts, the use of AI technology itself, future developments, challenges and new opportunities for AI and Art.
Location: Computational Creativity Hub (CCH) – AI&Art Pavilion @ Esch2022 – MSA Administration Building (Ground Floor)
